Ashley Olerich joined USD 232 in 2024 as the principal of Clear Creek Elementary School. In her role, she leads the school community in fostering high levels of learning, strong relationships, and a positive culture for students and staff.

Prior to joining USD 232, Mrs. Olerich spent 16 years in the Olathe School District. During her career in Olathe, she served as an assistant principal, athletic director, classroom teacher, and softball coach, building a strong foundation in both instructional leadership and student activities.

Mrs. Olerich has a master’s degree in school leadership and a master’s degree in sports business administration. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of New Mexico in 2006.

Mrs. Olerich and her husband Adam have two children, Reid and Maci. A fellow educator, Adam works in the Olathe School District. Outside of school, Mrs. Olerich enjoys spending time with her family, attending her children's activities, traveling, and supporting community and school events.

Mrs. Milinda Leas, Building Coordinator

Milinda (Mindy) Leas has been the building coordinator at Clear Creek Elementary since 2025.

Mrs. Leas is a De Soto High School graduate who has spent her entire educational career in USD 232 at Clear Creek Elementary. After student-teaching at Clear Creek in 2022, Mrs. Leas taught fourth grade before moving to second grade where she remained for 22 years.

Mrs. Leas has a Master of Science in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Education, both from the University of Kansas. She also received a Building Leadership Certificate from Baker University.

Mrs. Leas has one daughter, a son, and a stepson. Her family loves to spend time together at the lake, watching her daughter race drag boats and her youngest son compete in swimming.
